Kick off the festival with neighbors and family in your own Midvale neighborhood. This establishes relationships that strengthen our union of communities.
Please call 256-2500 to arrange a visit from the Mayor, Police and Fire Department.
Wednesday, August 4th
Hall of Honors and Youth Ambassadors Induction Ceremony, Midvale Performing Arts Center
7 p.m. – Join us at the Midvale Performing Arts Center located on the southeast corner of Center Street and Main (695 West 7720 South) for the Midvale Arts Council’s annual City award induction to the Midvale Hall of Honors and meet the new Midvale City Youth Ambassadors.
Thursday, August 5th
Dinner and Bingo in the Bowery
5:30-7:00 p.m. – Dinner In the Park. Catered by Midvale Mining Company with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Midvale
7:00 p.m. – Free Bingo in the Bowery (must be 12 or older). Prizes donated by local merchants. Free raffles for adults and children
Friday, August 6th
Beach Party & Arts in the Park Movie in the Park
6-9 p.m. – Wear a Hawaiian shirt and join us in the park for volleyball, hula hoop contests, and hula dancing. The Polynesian Group Island Time will be performing and teaching hula and Tahitian dances. Browse the arts and crafts booths and wander through the Midvale Arts Competition.
10 p.m. – Movie in the Park – Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs will be shown on an outdoor 40 foot screen. Bring a blanket, chairs and even pillows. Dinner will be available from Costa Vida for a $5 charge and refreshments will be sold. Wiser Music will use proceeds from concessions to put a music education program into Midvale Elementary School.
Saturday, August 7th
The Harvest Days “Fun in The Sun Run”
Join the Fort Union-Midvale Rotary Club in the annual 5K Fun Run and Walk. Starting line registration from 6:30-7:15 a.m. at the south parking lot at the City Park.
National Anthem and Flag Raising
7 a.m. – Midvale City Park Bowery, Midvale City Fire Department Honor Guard
Midvale & Union Community Council Breakfast

7-10 a.m. – Breakfast in the Park, $4.00 kids & seniors/$5.00 adults

Kid’s Olympics and Games All Day in the Park
ALL DAY IN THE PARK – Visit the food, craft and novelty booths. Enjoy the entertainment on the Stage. Food and Vendors in the Park All Day.
Beginning at Noon – Including Mayor Seghini and The Kiwanis Club: Gunny sack races, three-legged races, tug of war, water games and a pie eating contest.
Fireworks
10 p.m. – You won’t even have to leave the Park to view the greatest fireworks in the valley.
